Berlin · Germany & DACH Market Operator
Ex-founder. Over a decade launching international tech and fintech scaleups into the German and DACH market — from blank canvas to traction. Available for fractional and interim GM, Country Manager, and Founding GTM mandates.
About
Ex-founder and zero-to-one operator with over a decade building and scaling international tech startups and scaleups across platform, SaaS, and fintech. Having spent the better part of my career as Country Manager and General Manager, launching venture-backed companies into Germany and the DACH market — owning everything from entity setup and first hires to P&L, commercial strategy, market entry, sales, and partnerships.
Customer obsessed, with a habit of connecting the dots between product, marketing, and sales — leading cross-functional teams to turn strategy into execution. Analytical and direct. Equally comfortable driving rapid growth and building for sustainable profitability.
Mentor at APX (Axel Springer & Porsche) and the European Innovation Council Women Leadership Programme.
What I do
Entity setup, regulatory navigation, first hires, commercial strategy, and go-to-market. Full ownership of the Germany operation from day one — so HQ doesn't have to learn the hard way.
Building the commercial engine from scratch for Series A–C companies. ICP definition, pipeline architecture, sales motion, key partnerships — turning product-market fit into German market traction.
Launching new business units, products, and revenue streams inside fast-moving organisations. Connecting product, marketing, and sales into one coherent execution machine.
Short-sprint Germany GTM diagnostics and fractional operator mandates for portfolio companies preparing to enter or scale in Germany. No slide decks — just operational clarity and speed.

Why Germany
Regulatory complexity, cultural expectations, long procurement cycles, and a Mittelstand-heavy B2B landscape mean that running Germany from London or Dublin rarely works. The companies that get it right do so because someone on the ground understands the market — not just the language.
I've built and run Germany three times across different categories — fintech, platform, and SaaS. Each time, the hardest part wasn't the product. It was navigating what US and UK teams consistently underestimate: how different this market actually is, and how fast you need to move to get ahead of it.
